| Giacomo Antonio Moro was a Milanese medallist and coin engraver who was the Master of the Papal Mint from 1610 until 1624, under Pope Paul V and Pope Gregory XV. Another initialled plaquette representing the Holy Family is known (see Christie's, London, 9th December 1980, lot 170, initialled plaquette; Christie's, London, 13th April 1983, lot 101 and Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto).
